Every demolition project begins with a structural appraisal and a written demolition method statement, setting out the sequence of removal, temporary works and propping requirements, exclusion zones and the protection of adjoining structures and highways.
Works are carried out in line with BS 6187 and CDM 2015, with asbestos surveys reviewed before work begins and licensed removal arranged where required. Dust, noise and vibration are actively managed, and party wall and neighbouring-property obligations are respected throughout.
Arisings are segregated on site and recycled wherever practicable, with waste transfer documentation provided. Where demolition is the first phase of a wider scheme, we can continue straight into the enabling works and construction under the same contract.

Soft strip and internal demolition
Careful removal of internal fittings, finishes, partitions, services and non-structural elements — often within live or partially occupied buildings — leaving a clean shell ready for refurbishment or fit-out.
Structural demolition
Full or partial demolition of structures using appropriate plant and sequencing, supported by temporary works design, propping and façade retention where the scheme requires it.
Site clearance and enabling works
Clearance of redundant structures, hardstanding, vegetation and below-ground obstructions, together with service disconnections, hoarding, access provision and groundworks that prepare a site for construction.
Safety, permits and compliance
Notifications, permits, licensed asbestos coordination, trained operatives and documented risk assessments and method statements — with supervision on site for the duration of the works.
